Spring Cleaning Event
May 25th, 2024: 9 am – 2 pm.
Potluck picnic at noon. Drinks provided. We would like to invite you, your friends and family to join the Duvall and Carnation community to clean and refresh Novelty Hills Cemetery. This is a great opportunity to volunteer and get out in the fresh air in meaningful work! Here is what we plan to do:
- trim branches
- ranking and weeding
- weed-eating
- spread fertilizer
- wash headstones and markers
- trim around and edge headstones and markers
What to bring: rakes, trimmers, pruners for yard work plus rags, sponges, scrub brushes and buckets for cleaning markers and headstones. The cemetery provides a cleaning solution for cleaning markers and headstones.

Memorial Day Event
May 27th, 2024: 10 a.m.
Please join our remembrance for those that loved their country more than their own lives. 115 service members are buried at Novelty Hills Cemetery. We will be honoring and mourning the military personnel who have died in the performance of their military duties while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
Twilight Tour
August 24, 2024
Join the Novelty Cemetery Association and the Duvall Historical Society for the eighth annual twilight tour of the tranquil and picturesque Novelty Hills Cemetery where deceased Snoqualmie Valley residents will be brought back to life by re-enactors telling stories of their lives.

Knights of Columbus mark each Veterans Graves and remained marked up to the first mowing.
Duvall Historic Walking Tour
The historic town of Duvall is full of interesting stories. Moving the town, to bailing out graves. Our self-guided tour of downtown Duvall is a fun way to learn about historic buildings and the stories they have to share. Click here for the tour.
Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America will be at Novelty Hills Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button next to the cemetery name, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.
